Being aware of the historical role of the public joint stock company Latvijas balzams in Latvia, we have made our contribution also to preserving of Latvian heritage values.
In 2001, before the National anniversary, Latvijas balzams donated a significant amount for the restoration of the Latvian independence symbol – Monument to Freedom. Thank to our contribution, it was possible to complete the restoration. This is symbolic, as our company also bears the name of Latvia.
We are proud to say that we have made our contribution also to celebration of the 800th anniversary of Riga City. Now we suggest the city to start a new tradition – to celebrate an annual Riga day, which with the support of the local businesses could become an important traditional celebration.
